Your game and optional bug reports
Your character saves and recent diagnostic history are stored in your browser. Opening the report dialog prepares a local report; it does not upload it. Reports are sent only when you confirm permission and press Send report. You can exclude the screenshot, download a copy instead, or cancel. Declining does not prevent you from playing.
A submitted report can include your description, game state and character name, an optional screenshot of the game canvas, recent game inputs, error messages, browser and graphics-device information, rendering/audio settings, and recent performance and memory history, including retained sessions relevant to a reload. Avoid including personal or sensitive information in your description.
Why we process reports
We use voluntarily submitted reports to reproduce problems, investigate performance and crashes, and improve the game. We rely on your consent for this diagnostic submission. Reports are private; they are not published, sold, or used for advertising. We process network addresses temporarily to protect the report service against abuse, on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating it securely.
Where reports are processed
The report server is hosted by Hetzner in Finland. Batkin Consulting accesses reports from the United States. We use development tools, including OpenAI services, to assist with debugging; report content needed for an investigation may be processed by those services. EU hosting does not mean that all processing stays in the EU.
Retention and deletion
Reports and screenshots expire after 90 days. Expired files are removed on server startup and during hourly cleanup. Your private deletion link removes the server report and screenshot when you confirm deletion. Managed developer copies and backups are reconciled with the server’s deletion and expiry records before use and during scheduled maintenance. Deleted reports must not be restored from a backup. Sanitised regression tests that no longer contain personal data may be kept.
The deletion link is a secret: anyone who has it can delete that report. We remember recent links in your browser for convenience. If you lose it, contact us with your report reference. We do not require an account or email address to submit a report or use its deletion link.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw report consent through the deletion link or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not undo processing already carried out lawfully. Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and complain to a supervisory authority. We will ask only for information reasonably needed to identify the relevant report and handle the request.
You can clear local saves and diagnostic history using your browser’s site-data controls. This also removes locally remembered deletion links; save a copy first if you want to keep them.
Website analytics
The main website uses GoatCounter for usage statistics. The report-deletion page does not load analytics. See GoatCounter’s privacy information.
