With gratitude
Acknowledgements
Chibi Dungeon stands on generous tools, art, music, and research
shared by people who made the creative world larger for everyone.
K
The dungeon’s unmistakable cast and much of its world began with Kay
Lousberg’s KayKit packs: adventurers, skeletons, animation, dungeon
architecture, weapons, market furniture, forest scenery, and the
especially important toothed mimic chest. Their clear shapes,
playful proportions, and generous range gave this project a visual
language sturdy enough for both bright refuge and ominous crypt. The
KayKit assets used here are released under CC0.
d
The game, renderer, simulation, interface, and game server are
written in daslang. We are grateful to the language’s authors and
contributors for a fast, expressive foundation that can carry the
same game from native development to WebAssembly in the browser.
Voice and music
Pocket TTS by Kyutai gives the narrator and dungeon inhabitants
their voices, generated locally in your browser. The model is used
under
CC BY 4.0; our dasLLAMA distribution converts and quantizes it to GGUF and
omits the voice encoder for playback.
Voice reference credits
and
our voice-source notes
describe the prepared voices.
The score’s authored patterns and adaptive layers are performed
through the Strudel-inspired music tools in the daslang ecosystem.
S. Christian Collins’s GeneralUser GS v1.471 soundfont supplies
the instruments for the adaptive score. It is distributed under
the
GeneralUser GS License v2.0.
Type and additional art
Spectral and Lato
Website and game typography uses Spectral and Lato, distributed
under the
SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Selected treasure assets by Binbun help make opening a chest feel
appropriately inadvisable. Released under CC0.
Sound contributors
Kenney supplies RPG, impact
and foley sounds under CC0. Inventory and item feedback also uses
RPG Inventory SFX by Banned Bytes, used under its purchased game-use licence. The monster voice is
based on
Darsycho’s CC0 Monster Snarls.
KayKit and other credited asset projects remain the work of their
respective creators.
