Find your friendsThe crypt has grown deeper. The Unwritten Archive awaits below: a sprawling library of strange shrines, dangerous curses, and assistant librarians with questionable customer-service skills.
Umberto has found gainful employment. Unfortunately, so has everyone else.
Chat is now enabled by default when you sign in. Say hello, compare questionable decisions, or ask whether anyone else heard that.
The game is still a work in progress. We keep finding room for more trouble.
Disregard the silence policyThe hub has had some attention: autumn trees, warmer lanterns, and more places to wander before making another poor decision underground. It is still a work in progress. So is the game. The graveyard remains reassuringly well prepared.
There is room for more adventurers, too. Eight character slots let you switch between heroes, with a shared chest for each mode—Regular and Hardcore keep their belongings separate. Signed-in characters follow you between computers. Guest characters stay in the browser where you made them.
Warriors now arrive with a simple two-handed weapon. Rogues have Spin Attack ready in their second slot, and Fireball and Frostbolt cost a little less mana. Chat and narrator introductions have also learned when to leave you in peace.
Try the Witch and experiment with giving your minions different weapons. The dead have surprisingly strong opinions about equipment. Or explore with whichever character you like—there’s no required way to play.
Take the scenic route to troubleYou can now sign in with Google. Entirely optional: anonymous poor judgement remains supported.
Chat is opening to a small test group first. General conversation, floor gossip, and the ability to keep listening after making a tactical exit. An account does not yet save your heroes to the cloud. They remain your browser’s problem.
Put a name to the damageThe dead are becoming useful, the merchants suspicious, and the royal family somebody else’s problem. New quests, better-behaved summons, and a vegetable supplier with a remarkably sharp inventory. We’ve also improved controls, visuals, and problem reporting. Your decisions remain entirely your own.
Investigate the vegetablesThe crypt has a clearer approach, a few memorials, and coffins awaiting collection. The town believes in planning ahead.
Summons now make room in corridors and respond to offensive casts. Low furniture no longer stops arrows, frightened enemies eventually turn and fight, and the sound effects have had another tuning pass. Locked chests have acquired opinions about repeated clicking.
This development update starts a fresh character. Your local graphics and sound preferences are kept.
Enter the dungeonChibi Dungeon’s first public home is taking shape. The playable build now spans the market square and three crypt floors, with persistent expeditions, regular and Hardcore journeys, narrated encounters, adaptive music, and a substantial quantity of loot.
Five adventurers have volunteered to enter the crypt. Different talents. Equally poor judgement.
The current build is intended for desktop and laptop browsers. Characters save locally in the browser, and can be exported before moving to another device or web address.
